Job summary

Randstad seeks supply teachers to support local primary schools. You can choose days each week via the Sirenum booking system, updating availability when you decide, ideal for those with childcare or part-time plans.

Most bookings provide pre-planned lessons; you’ll bring them to life and keep learners engaged. Whether part-time or full-time, you’ll teach, manage behaviour, support pastoral needs, and hand over smoothly to the absent teacher.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS on the update service.
• A degree qualification in teaching (PGCE) along with a QTS.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary curriculum.
• Relevant teaching experience (Must be able to provide 2 teaching references).
• Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available).
• Tailoring your approach to the individual needs of children where necessary.

This user:friendly system allows you to update your availability (when YOU decide) and has proven HIGHLY beneficial for those with prior childcare arrangements in place, those generally looking to work part time and those who are set to retire, but still want general income.

For the vast majority of school bookings, planning and resources will already be prepared. On this note, you will still be expected to bring the lessons of the day alive and keep our future generation highly informed/engaged.
