Job summary

Academics Ltd is seeking enthusiastic and experienced Primary Class Teachers for short and long term supply across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in Northwich, Winsford and surrounding Cheshire areas. You will enjoy flexibility, regular work, and the chance to build your reputation with a wide client base of primary schools.

Daily, short and long term placements are available with PAYE rates. You should be able to travel to partner schools by 8.30am and be prepared for short-notice on-the-day cover.

Qualifications

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience in UK primary schools
• Be able to travel to partnership schools in Northwich, Winsford and surrounding Cheshire areas by 8.30am with short notice for on-the-day supply requirements
• Flexible, positive, and professional approach
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide regular cover across Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
• Deliver short, interim and longer-term cover in partner primary schools
• Travel to and work at multiple partnership schools across Cheshire West & Cheshire East

Our partnership primary schools in Northwich and Winsford are in need of enthusiastic and experienced Primary Class Teacher's to provide short and long term cover across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2. Our temporary supply opportunities are for Primary Teachers who enjoy adaptability, variation, and the freedom to choose where and when they work!

The ideal applicant will have:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Previous experience working in UK primary schools.
• Be happy to travel and to be able to get to our partnership schools in Northwich, Winsford, and the surrounding Cheshire areas by 8.30am with sometimes only 30-60 minute's notice for our on the day supply requirements.
• A flexible, positive, and professional approach.
• The ability to quickly build rapport with learners and staff.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Please be aware that your daily rate will be dependent upon experience, prior qualifications, training, and the client rate that is currently available.
