Wayman Education is seeking a proficient and competent SENCO for an exceptional one-form entry primary school based in Cambridgeshire. The school has several SEN children and requires an experienced SENCO for April 2024 (for one academic term).

This one-form entry school is a dynamic and aspiring school based in Cambridgeshire. Staff members, students, guardians, and the governing body collaborate to create a caring, nurturing atmosphere where every student can fulfill their potential. Boys and girls attend this school from age three (Nursery) to age eleven, after which they transfer to secondary education.
About the role:
Temporary role until end of the academic year
You will perform typical Primary SENCO duties: managing EHCPS, conducting 1:1 assessments of children, and assisting with administrative tasks. Experience with EHCP and a solid understanding of the SEN Code of Practice & Primary Curriculum are essential.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified primary teacher, hold a SENCO qualification (or be eager to obtain one), and have extensive experience with Special Educational Needs. Passion for making a difference in children's lives, strong organizational skills, and leadership qualities are required.
You will join a friendly teaching team ready to support you from April 2024.
