Reed is seeking a Science Learning Support Assistant for a Pupil Referral Unit in Morden, South London, starting September 2026. The role is full-time, term-time only, with daily pay between £95 and £115 depending on experience.

You will support Science lessons, assist with practical activities, and help create a positive, safe learning environment for pupils with SEMH and additional learning needs. The ideal candidate has a science background and strong communication and behaviour management

We are currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a successful Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Morden for a September 2026 start.

About the Role

As a Science LSA, you will support students within Science lessons, helping them engage with learning and develop both academically and personally. The school supports students who may have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, behavioural challenges, or additional learning needs.

The successful candidate will be confident, patient, and able to build positive relationships with students while supporting them to achieve success in the classroom.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach.
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting students to overcome barriers to learning.
  • Previous experience working with young people in education, youth work, mentoring, coaching, or support settings is desirable.
