A leading education recruitment agency is looking for a dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to join their inclusive team in London. This role involves delivering personalized teaching to children with special educational needs, ensuring they achieve their potential in a supportive environment. Candidates should have QTS and experience in SEN settings. The position starts in September 2025.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary SEN Teacher to join an inclusive and supportive team. This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who is committed to making a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, personalised teaching and learning to pupils with a range of special educational needs in a nurturing and structured environment. Working closely with support staff and specialists, you will help every child achieve their potential—academically, socially, and emotionally. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Primary SEN Teacher:
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to pupils’ individual EHCP targets
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Support pupils with a variety of needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech and language, SEMH)
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and the SENCO
Monitor and assess pupil progress and contribute to review meetings
Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support learning at home
Maintain high standards of safeguarding and behaviour management
Ideal Primary SEN Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in a primary or SEN setting
Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and EYFS/Primary curriculum
Ability to differentiate effectively and manage a wide range of needs
Compassionate, calm, and resilient approach to teaching
Excellent teamwork, communication, and organisational skills as a Primary SEN Teacher.
