Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd. seeks an experienced teacher to join an SEN provision in Dudley on a full-time basis, in a temporary to permanent contract. You will deliver engaging lessons tailored to students with additional needs within a small class setting.

Working with a dedicated team, you will adhere to school policies, support students’ communication needs, and benefit from excellent PAYE daily rates, ongoing professional development, and safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status required.
• Experience working with students with SEN including communication needs.
• DBS check required or willing to undergo DBS check.

Job description

Vision for Educationis seeking an experienced Teacher to work in an SEN based provision in Dudley on a full-time basis on a temporary to permanent contract.

Hours 08:30-15:30pm Monday-Friday.

About the Role:

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons to students with varying additional needs catered towards their ECHP's. The students have aprimary need of communication and interaction
• The class is small which caters primary ages students with a range of SEN needs. The hub consistes of 20-25 children with 1 lead teacher, 2 HLTA's and 6 support staff.
• Adhere to school policies while fostering a positive and supportive learning atmosphere.
• Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system. (Daily rate is subject to your scale rate, experience in role and qualifications which will be discussed at the point of registration.

• A Specialist parimary school provision based in Dudley for children and young people of primary age with moderate needs, ADHD, ASD and SEMH with the aim of providing high quality education.

About you:

• Qualified Teacher Status with the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit pupils of all abilities, while building strong rapport.

• Experience working with students who have additional needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and Speech and Language Communication disorders. PGCE or QTS.

• A strong understanding of how to engage with students within lessons and tailor learning to fit their individual needs.
• A DBS Check, or readiness to undergo a DBS check.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
