We're looking for a Primary SEN Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a Year 2 pupil in a friendly primary school in Sheffield S20. This full-time role begins ASAP and runs through to July, with a strong chance of continuing in September.

Your responsibilities:

• Support daily learning with adaptive strategies and encouragement

• Foster emotional confidence through consistent 1:1 interaction

• Liaise regularly with teachers, SENCO, and parents

• Promote social interaction and communication development

• Assist in behaviour management strategies sensitively and effectively

• Maintain a calm and positive classroom presence

You'll need:

• Proven experience with SEND in a primary classroom

• Understanding of speech & language or ASD/ADHD needs is beneficial

• Strong written and verbal communication

• DBS on the update service
