Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Primary School Tutor to provide personalized one-to-one support in core subjects like English and Maths for young learners, especially those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Are you passionate about supporting young learners at the most critical stage of their education? We’re looking for a caring, skilled, and experienced Primary School Tutor to deliver personalised one-to-one support in English, Maths, and early Science.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on helping children grow in confidence, develop strong foundations, and overcome learning barriers – particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Deliver engaging, one-to-one tuition in core subjects tailored to each child’s age and stage
Support pupils with a range of SEN needs, including communication difficulties, dyslexia, ADHD, or autism
Develop fun, structured lesson plans that suit individual learning styles
Create a safe, positive learning environment where students feel supported and motivated
Regularly assess progress and share clear, encouraging feedback with parents and caregivers
Help children build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning
Minimum 2 years' experience in primary teaching or tutoring
A warm, patient, and nurturing approach to working with young children
Experience with SEN and differentiated learning strategies
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with children and families
A flexible, reliable, and professional attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
