Protocol Education Limited is recruiting enthusiastic Teaching & Learning Assistants to support children in mainstream primary schools in Lewisham. We offer daily supply, short-term and long-term opportunities to help pupils reach their full potential.

As a Teaching & Learning Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support learning across the classroom, leading small group interventions and assisting pupils who need additional support to access learning.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning within the classroom.
• Lead small group interventions in literacy, numeracy and other curriculum areas.
• Assist pupils who require additional support to access learning.
• Encourage pupil engagement, confidence and independence.
• Support classroom management and positive behaviour.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback where appropriate.
