Tempest Education are working with a Primary School in CH45 (Wirral).

The School are looking to appoint the Teaching Assistant as soon as possible.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and staff to provide personalised support for students ensuring they receive the assistance they need to thrive in their education. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the implementation of personalised learning plans for SEN students
• Support children working at a level below expected
• Plan and deliver interventions
• Phonics support
• Offering 1:1 and small group support for children with ASD.
• Helping create a nurturing, positive, and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting classroom activities and adapting resources to meet student's needs
• Encouraging social, emotional, and academic development
• Collaborating with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other professionals to deliver targeted interventions

Requirements:

• • Experience working with children, especially those with SEN, is highly desirable
  • Patience, compassion, and a positive approach to supporting children's learning
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for working in education and helping children succeed
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Minimum 6 months experience within a School environment
