This long-term role involves supporting the nursery class and fostering a positive learning environment for young children. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher with daily activities in the nursery class.
• Lead small intervention groups to support children's learning and development.
• Observe and track children's progress to aid in individual planning.
• Help plan and deliver engaging activities that stimulate children's learning.
• Set up and maintain resources to create a productive learning environment.
• Support children with challenging behavior using a positive and nurturing approach.
• Take charge of the class in the teacher's absence, ensuring a calm and productive atmosphere.

We Are Looking For:

• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Key Stage One or Key Stage Two (or equivalent).
• Experience working in UK primary school.
• Strong understanding of the curriculum in either Early Years, Key Stage One or Key Stage Two.
• Ability to manage the class effectively in the teacher's absence.
• Confidence in handling challenging behavior with a calm and consistent approach.
• A proactive, flexible team player passionate about children's learning and development.
