Job summary

Supply Desk Ltd in Brighton is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support primary pupils, including those with special educational needs. You will work closely with teaching staff to assist in planning and delivering lessons across various subjects, providing personalised support and contributing to progress tracking.

The role runs from 08:30 to 15:30, is full-time, and offers a competitive daily rate based on experience. Training and DBS support are provided by Supply Desk.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics are required or advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering lessons across subjects.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with SEN.
• Help create learning materials and track student progress.
• Support behaviour management and maintain a positive classroom environment.
