Job summary

Long-Term Teachers is assisting a lovely primary school in Truro, Cornwall to recruit a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant. You will support pupils’ learning, wellbeing and development, working closely with the class teacher in a busy, inclusive classroom.

The role welcomes both full- and part-time candidates (minimum three days per week) and offers a flexible temporary assignment aligned with school needs and experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of professional experience with children.
• Experience in a primary school or childcare setting preferred.
• Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Help pupils reach their potential with a child-centred approach.
