Primary School Teaching Assistant | Lewisham
Location: Lewisham, London
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £90–£100 per day (PAYE, no umbrella hassle)

Love being in the classroom but not quite ready to take the teacher’s chair? Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, we’re looking for brilliant Teaching Assistants to support friendly primary schools across Lewisham.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting children’s learning in class (and sometimes in small groups or 1:1)

• Helping build routines and positive behaviour

• Creating a calm, inclusive space where every pupil can shine

• Lending a hand with resources, activities, and a bit of organised chaos!

You’ll be great for this if you:

• Have experience working with primary-aged children (school, tutoring, clubs—it all counts)

• Bring a calm, caring and can-do attitude

• Love the idea of helping children grow, learn, and feel seen

• Have (or are happy to get) a DBS on the Update Service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
