Qualified Primary Teacher Job in Caerphilly

Your new school: An opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Teacher to work within a Primary School situated within Rhondda Cynon Taf. The school prides itself on having an inclusive and supportive environment for both staff and pupils. If successful, you will be working with a helpful and caring Senior Leadership Team as well as excellent Teaching Assistants.

Your new role: This role is based in a KS1 classroom teaching 5 days a week. You will be responsible for full-time teaching responsibilities, including preparation, for a Primary School class size between 20 and 30 pupils. Duties relating to the role include but are not limited to:

1. Create lesson plans
2. Work as part of a team
3. Create and maintain a safe, interactive, and engaging learning environment for the pupils
4. Set homework or exercises for pupils to practice after classroom hours
5. Encourage pupils to engage and participate
6. Demonstrate tasks, assign, and encourage discussions

What you'll need to succeed:

• You will need to be a qualified teacher holding a valid QTS
• Hold a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
• A commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of pupils
• Up-to-date EWC registration
• A passion for creating a safe and welcoming environment for children to succeed
