Job summary

Academic Appointments Ltd are seeking skilled primary supply teachers to cover daily and short-term assignments across Harrogate and surrounding areas. You will join a network of schools providing planned cover and flexible placements across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Applicants should hold QTS and have recent UK primary teaching experience with a solid understanding of the National Curriculum, strong classroom management, and a willingness to travel between local schools.

At Academic Appointments, we work in partnership with a wide range of primary schools throughout Harrogate and the surrounding areas, providing experienced teachers for daily supply, short-term cover and longer-term assignments. We are looking for teachers who enjoy the variety that supply work offers and are happy to travel between schools across the local area.

About the role

No two days in supply teaching are the same. You may be providing planned cover for a class teacher, delivering lessons across different year groups or supporting a school during a busy period. Whatever the placement, you'll play an important role in ensuring pupils continue to receive high-quality teaching in a positive and productive learning environment.

Assignments are available across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Your responsibilities will include
