Primary School Teacher – Flexible Cover

Location: Yeovil, Somerset and surrounding areas

Contract Type: Ad-hoc cover (with potential for long-term roles)

Responsibilities
  • Deliver inspiring, engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
  • Adapt quickly to new environments and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Support pupils of all abilities, including those with SEN or EAL needs.
  • Bring creativity, confidence, and enthusiasm to every lesson.
  • Collaborate with staff, pupils, and parents to create a thriving learning experience.
Qualifications
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
  • Recent primary classroom experience.
  • A confident, adaptable approach to teaching.
  • A genuine passion for inspiring young learners.
  • Flexibility – whether you’re available one day a week or five.
  • Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
