If you are a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) qualified primary teacher, you may be able to join Prospero Teaching and work on a variety of placements in different schools. Supply teaching can be a flexible and rewarding way to work in education, offering experience in a variety of schools and settings. Due to staffing shortages, schools are requesting a high volume of day-to-day and short-term supply teachers to cover planned and last-minute absences in different subjects. Cover work is provided to a very high standard and there is no expectation to plan lessons, mark, or assess. This position is ideal if you are looking to gain more experience before applying for more permanent opportunities and is open to experienced teachers as well as those newly qualified.
