As a Primary School Teacher, you will inspire young learners, encouraging them to explore new ideas, develop their skills, and build the confidence they need to succeed in school and beyond. You’ll work closely with a supportive team of staff, creating engaging lessons and ensuring each child feels valued and understood. Your enthusiasm and dedication will play a vital role in shaping their educational journey and helping them achieve their best.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage growth.
  • Supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of students through tailored teaching methods.
  • Collaborating with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure students’ needs are met.
  • Maintaining effective classroom management to ensure a focused and respectful learning atmosphere.
  • Organising and participating in school events, extracurricular activities, and trips to enrich students' learning experiences.
  • Ensuring a safe, supportive, and well-organised classroom that promotes students' well-being.

Candidate Expectations:

  • A qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience teaching in a primary school setting.
  • Passion for working with young children and a strong commitment to their academic and personal development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Proven experience in creating engaging lesson plans and adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of primary school students.
  • A thorough understanding of the national curriculum and primary school teaching standards.
  • An up-to-date CV covering the last ten years, with no unexplained gaps.
  • A valid enhanced DBS check registered on update service (or willingness to apply for one)
