Step Teachers are working with a school in Hemel Hempstead who are looking for a Primary School Teacher to work in a mixed Year 2/3 class. The role is full time starting from September 2025 and the Primary School Teacher role is in a one form entry Primary School which, at their last inspection, continued to be rated as 'Good' under the former Ofsted ratings for school.

Primary School Teacher Role:

• Possess strong knowledge of the Primary School curriculum
• Maintain a tidy and organized classroom with easily accessible resources
• Collaborate effectively with other staff members both in the classroom and throughout the school
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that can be adapted to the needs of the class
• Willingly comply with and effectively implement the school's policies

Primary SchoolTeacher Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status
• Have recent experience as a Primary School Teacher in a mainstream school
• Demonstrate good classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate children learn and have confidence
• Experience working with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) is desirable
