Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Primary School Supply Teachers to work in schools across Norfolk. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers or Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking for flexible work, the chance to gain experience in different settings, or a pathway into long-term positions.

As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, ensuring continuity of learning, and managing classroom behaviour in a variety of primary school settings. This role is for April 2025.

Duties as a Primary School Teacher:

  • Delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2, depending on your preference and experience.
  • Following lesson plans and adapting teaching to suit the needs of the pupils.
  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Providing feedback to staff and reporting on pupil progress when required.
  • Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all children.
  • Building strong relationships with schools and demonstrating professionalism.

Ideal Primary School Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in EYFS, KS1, or KS2 (desirable but not essential for ECTs).
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring young learners as a Primary School Teacher.
  • A valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
