Primary School SEND Teaching Assistant - September Start, Doncaster

Protocol Education is seeking experienced SEND Teaching Assistants specializing in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs (SEMH) for roles within our schools in Doncaster. Due to educational and emotional disruptions over the past two years, children require quality support and reassurance.

The ideal candidate will be approachable, patient, and possess good communication skills. Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds and with various personal needs is essential, with an understanding that each child's requirements are unique. Good de-escalation skills and team teach training are desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities include 1:1 interventions, record keeping, communication support, and ensuring all children have equal opportunities to engage in the classroom.
