Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Enfield from September 2026. You will provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs, helping them develop early literacy and numeracy skills in a nurturing environment.

The role focuses on supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, including those with SEN such as ASD, speech and language needs and developmental delays.

Qualifications

• Experience working with EYFS pupils or early years settings.
• Experience supporting children with SEN.
• Patient, nurturing and enthusiastic demeanor.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to use initiative and adapt to individual pupils needs.

Responsibilities

EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant - Enfield

Location: Enfield, North London

Pay: 95 - 115 per day

Start: September 2026

Contract: Full-time, term time only

Remedy Education are currently recruiting for a caring and dedicated EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Enfield from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support young children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping them develop key skills in a nurturing and structured environment.

The Role

As an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
• Support children with SEN such as ASD, speech & language needs and developmental delays

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with EYFS pupils or early years settings
• Has experience supporting children with SEN
• Is patient, nurturing and enthusiastic
• Has strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Can use initiative and adapt to the needs of individual pupils
• Has a genuine passion for early childhood development

Experience with phonics programmes and early years frameworks is highly desirable.
