Primary School PPA Teacher – Redbridge, London

Are you an experienced primary school teacher looking to cover PPA at a great primary school based in Redbridge, London from September 2024 on a permanent contract?

Are you tired of full-time class teacher responsibilities but still want to teach children?

Would you be happy delivering pre-planned lessons across Nursery to Year 6?

Or perhaps you have recently completed your teacher training and haven’t secured an ECT role yet and want to gain experience across different year groups at a school that could offer your ECT induction further down the line?

A 3 Form Entry Primary School located in Redbridge, London, is searching for a full-time PPA primary teacher to join in September 2024 on a long-term contract for the full academic year.

This role is open to both experienced primary teachers and ECTs. Please note, ECT induction will not be completed as a PPA teacher but will give you a solid year of whole-school teaching. The school would be happy to support your ECT induction from September 2024.

This is a fantastic opportunity, perfectly suited to a qualified primary teacher with a passion for teaching and learning.

You will deliver set planned lessons across the primary school from Nursery to Year 6. You will NOT be required to plan or write reports but will be expected to mark.

The Headteacher is keen to find the right fit for this role and is looking for someone who is fun, vibrant, and a great team player.

The ideal PPA Teacher:

• Holds QTS
• Has at least 1 year UK primary teaching experience
• Ability to teach across the entire school and primary phases
• Ability to establish excellent relationships and rapport with pupils
• Supportive and a great team player
• Enthusiastic and passionate

The school is located in a lovely part of Redbridge, London, within walking distance of several stations. Multiple bus routes stop outside, and parking is available.

The school is set on beautiful grounds in a large modern building with excellent facilities and plentiful resources.
