Job summary

Our Lady's Catholic Primary School in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Midday Supervisor. The role is part-time, 6.25 hours per week, term-time only (38 weeks per year).

You will prepare dining areas, supervise meals and washrooms, escort pupils, clear tables and support safe, orderly play and lunchtime routines under the Senior Midday Supervisor. Qualifications

• Must enjoy working with children.
• Able to supervise lunchtime activities and follow school policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the dining area for lunch by setting out chairs and tables.
• Supervise toileting and washroom activities.
• Escort children to and from the dining room.
• Supervise collection of meals and assist with use of cutlery.
• Clear tables and assist pupils returning used plates, trays, and glasses.
• Supervise pupils eating packed lunches and ensure area is cleared.
• Oversee classroom and outdoor activities during lunchtime.
• Ensure an orderly return to the classroom after lunch.
• Attend to minor accidents or pupils who feel unwell, providing care as needed.
• Report to the Senior Midday Supervisor for incidents or illnesses.
• Monitor pupil behaviour and intervene as necessary per school policy.
• Inform the Senior Midday Supervisor of any breaches of rules.
