Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Support Worker to deliver mental health and wellbeing groups in primary schools across Cornwall. You will run group activities, support staff, and progressively move to independent delivery while travelling across the county.

NVQ 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent experience with children in mental health is essential. The role offers a route towards Mental Health Practitioner training, with regular supervision and ongoing professional

Qualificações

• NVQ 3 Health and Social Care, or equivalent experience working with children and young people in a mental health service.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver mental health and wellbeing groups to children and young people in primary schools.
• Deliver whole-school interventions alongside qualified staff, moving to independent delivery over time.
• Deliver workshops, classroom-based activities and psychoeducational activities.
• Support schools to develop positive emotional wellbeing environments.
• Build relationships with school staff, children and families.
• Help children build confidence, resilience and emotional wellbeing.
• Travel frequently across the county, including to areas without public transport.
