Primary School Learning Support Mentor

Are you a recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience supporting children in their everyday learning? This Primary School Learning Support Mentor role is based in Redbridge, London and starts ASAP. It is a full-time, long-term position at an inclusive, passionate and well-led primary school.

The role involves providing dedicated support to students on a daily basis, including tailored 1:1 and group sessions, supporting students with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language, etc.). You will need to be adaptable, tailoring the way you teach and support each student.

This role is suitable for graduates seeking experience toward future careers such as Educational Psychologist, Teacher, Clinical Psychologist, Speech & Language Therapist, Youth Worker, or Counsellor.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting students across KS3, KS4 & KS5
  • Holding 1:1 and group academic support sessions
  • Promoting a purposeful and supportive learning environment
  • Supporting SEN students regularly (ASD, ADHD, Speech & Language, etc.)
  • ASAP Start – Full-time position
  • Salary: £90 - £110 per day - Term time only
  • Location: Redbridge, London
