I am working with a vibrant and successful school situated in a lovely village near Swindon. This school aims to inspire every child to achieve their potential through creative, enjoyable, memorable and outstanding teaching. This school has an exciting opportunity to join the staff team as an Early Career teacher. You will complete a two year induction to education, during which you will receive structured support and guidance with your professional development. The aim of their curriculum, of which you will be delivering, is to provide high quality, rich, creative and enjoyable teaching activities which inspire and enable children to learn effectively and achieve outstanding outcomes in all subjects. Their aim is to help you to build confidence, develop strong teaching skills and become a valued member of the school body.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons for children of various ages and requirements in line with school curriculum.
  • Set clear learning objectives and use assessment strategies to measure pupil development.
  • Mark work, provide feedback and use data to make informed lesson plans.
  • Create a positive, safe and respectful classroom environment, managing behaviour in line with school policy.
  • Engage fully in your training within the school, reflecting on practice, taking on board feedback and working towards meeting the teachers standards.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status and a relevant degree or PGCE
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents and colleagues effectively.
  • Confidence and patience within a classroom environment.
  • An understanding of relevant safe guarding and child protection procedures.
  • A strong understanding of the curriculum.
