Marchant Recruitment is sourcing a Cleaner for a Liverpool school. The role is 12.5 hours per week, year-round, with afternoon shifts from 15:10 to 17:40 and morning shifts from 05:30 to 08:00.

The successful candidate will work independently as part of a broader cleaning team to maintain a clean, safe environment for pupils and staff. Applicants should be reliable, organized and safety-conscious, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• A reliable, organised and thorough approach to work.
• Good awareness of health and safety.

• Flexibility to provide cover for colleagues when required.
• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial, but willingness to learn matters more.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets and other designated areas to the required standard.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste safely.
• Replenish toiletries and cleaning supplies as required.
• Use cleaning equipment and products safely, following health and safety procedures.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment or low stock levels to the supervisor.
• Keep cleaning equipment and storage areas clean and tidy.
