Primary School Class Teacher (ECTs Welcome)

Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary

Location: Portsmouth

Pay: £160 to £250 dependent on experience

Start Date: 3rd September 2024 (Opportunity for extension)

Who are you?

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum (preferred)
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (required)

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment, promoting good behaviour and active participation
  • Ensure pupil safety and well-being, supporting social and emotional development
  • Engage in professional development and apply best teaching practices
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback for individual growth
  • Build relationships with parents, providing updates and attending meetings
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and staff meetings
