Equal Education Partners is currently seeking a Supply School Caretaker to work at a Primary School in Swansea. This is an opportunity to support the school by maintaining a safe, clean, and functional environment for students and staff. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the school, including classrooms, hallways, staff areas, and outdoor spaces.
• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs to keep the school in top condition.
• Set up and clear areas for school events, assemblies, and activities.
• Ensure all school facilities are safe and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with the school’s heating, lighting, and security systems.
• Support the general upkeep of the school grounds, including gardening and outdoor maintenance tasks.
• Work as part of a team with school staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a caretaking or maintenance role (experience in schools is a plus, but not essential).
• A practical, hands-on approach to work with a strong attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of health and safety practices, particularly in a school setting.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to take initiative.
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
• Competitive pay rates through Equal Education Partners, with the possibility of long-term supply placements (Grade 5 (SCP 7-9 £25,584-£26,409 pro rata)
