Primary School Caretaker - Gloucester

Location: Quedgeley, Gloucester

Pay Rate: £16.49 per hour

Are you a proactive and reliable individual with a knack for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment? Monarch Education is seeking a dedicated School Caretaker to join a fantastic school in Gloucester.

As a School Caretaker, you'll be essential to the smooth running of the school. Your responsibilities will include:

  • General maintenance and repairs across the school premises.
  • Ensuring the security of the school buildings and grounds.
  • Carrying out routine health and safety checks.
  • Managing access for contractors and deliveries.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in communal areas.
  • Supporting with setting up for school events.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in a caretaker or similar role.
  • Possess strong DIY and maintenance skills.
  • Be highly organised and able to manage their time effectively.
  • Have a good understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Be trustworthy, dependable, and able to work independently.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS check or be willing to apply for one.
