Job Description:

We are currently looking for a teacher to cover PPA cover across a local primary school - this cover is working in year 1, 2, 3 & 6 three days per week.

This role involves no planning and prep; however, marking is required. You will be working alongside the class teachers moving around the year groups across a three-day timetable.

The role is currently until the end of the Summer term 2025; however, it may continue into September.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach the children the curriculum.
  • Be able to adapt lesson plans to work with different children needs and abilities.
  • Provide feedback to parents, the school, and the agency at the end of the day.
  • Manage behaviour and maintain a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • You must have a relevant teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS, etc).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A positive and compassionate attitude towards students.
  • A valid right to work in the UK.
