Job summary

An award-winning sports coaching company is looking for a Primary PE Sports Coach to deliver engaging PE lessons and support children's physical wellbeing. This full-time role requires a passion for working with children aged 4-11 and offers a salary between £22,500 and £28,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will have a minimum NGB Level 2 qualification in any sport and significant experience in primary education.

Primary PE Sports Coach – Award-Winning Sports Coaching & Wraparound Care Provider

Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire (NN14, NN15, NN18) with Head Office in Rothwell

Salary: £22.5k-£28k (dependent on qualifications & experience)

Hours: Full-Time / 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging PE lessons and structured activities in primary schools, including PPA cover
  • Implement effective teaching and behaviour management strategies
  • Plan high-quality PE sessions tailored to children's needs
  • Work independently and manage your own projects
  • Organize and run holiday sports camps and activities
  • Support delivery within multi-activity wraparound care sessions
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum NGB Level 2 qualification in any sport
  • Valid driving license and access to own vehicle
  • Significant experience delivering PE in primary schools
  • Valid and in-date Enhanced DBS check (preferably on the Update Service)
  • Valid Safeguarding & First Aid certificates
  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above)
