Primary or Secondary Tutors

Are you passionate about education and helping students reach their full potential? We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated tutors to join our team in Derbyshire!

Position: Primary or Secondary level Tutors
Location: Derbyshire

Hours: Flexible part-time (work as much or little as you like, up to 30 hours per week)
Salary: 25 - 30 dependant on experience

Start Date: ASAP

We welcome motivated individuals who work with children in the area and are passionate about entering the field of education. It is ideal if you already possess an enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to obtain one.

We are looking for individuals interested in teaching the following subjects:

Primary or Secondary: Maths, English, Science.

• Achieving measurable outcomes to assess impact
• Collaborating with educational and care stakeholders to support students
• Adhering to KCSIE and safeguarding guidelines

Desired experience includes:

• Previous experience tutoring one-to-one or small groups needing additional support
• Ability to accept supervision and constructive feedback
• Experience working in inclusion units, special settings, or alternative provisions
• Familiarity with supporting students with SEN, undiagnosed SEN, disengaged young people, or looked-after children

Your essential qualities should include:

• Inspirational, effective, and adaptable communication skills
• Proficiency in IT, access to a laptop/computer, and audio-visual capabilities
• Reliable broadband and internet connection
• Ability to build meaningful relationships and motivate students
