Primary Nurture and Intervention Teacher - Woking - Education and Training - SEMH - Trauma Informed - Teacher - Primary - Mental Health

Are you passionate about demonstrating the value of education to children with SEMH needs?

Exciting opportunity to join a progressive school for children and young adults with a range of SEMH needs!

This Woking-based School is looking for a Primary Nurture and Intervention Teacher to join a fun and supportive team at a purpose built school. This is a school for children aged 7-16 with a range of SEMH needs, and associated challenging behaviours. Many of the children have experienced adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and are very much at risk of negative outcomes without these appropriate interventions.

Personal Qualities - Primary Nurture and Intervention Teacher - Woking:

* Passionate about helping children and young people achieve their full potential
* Experience of leading successful teaching activities
* Experience of working collaboratively with parents, and other professionals
* Knowledge of current good practice in good teaching
* Successful experience of differentiating lessons to enable pupils to access the curriculum
* Ability to remain calm and consistent when working with students demonstrating challenging behaviour
* Able to build confidence and motivation
* Able to learn quickly and communicate effectively
* Able to build robust and effective relationships with students
* Able to remain calm and resilient when placed in situations of stress or conflict
* Flexible and adaptable

**ASAP start

**Full-time

**Salary: MPS (up to M6) + Additional SEN Allowance + Fringe, £140-£200 per day

**Excellent on-site education and training, support and CPD is provided

**You MUST have right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship

**Must be able to travel to Woking / surrounding areas
