Music Teacher - Part-Time (3 Days per Week)

Start Date: September 2025 - July 2026

Tradewind Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a Primary School, a vibrant and welcoming two-form entry school in Islington. The school is seeking a passionate and skilled Music Teacher to join their team for three days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday), including leading the school's Choir Club one day per week.

Role Overview:

  • Deliver engaging, creative music lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

  • Inspire pupils to develop a love of music and confidence in their abilities

  • Lead and coordinate the school's Choir Club

  • Work collaboratively with staff to enrich the school's wider creative curriculum

  • Support school events and performances throughout the year

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching music within UK primary schools

  • Strong knowledge of the primary music curriculum and excellent classroom management skills

  • Enthusiasm for nurturing pupils' musical talents and creativity

  • Commitment to supporting the school's inclusive and community-focused ethos
