Overview

Supply Desk are seeking an SEND maths and English HLTA/ Tutor for a Primary School in the Winchester Suburbs

Starting November 2025 on a long - term contract

Pay: up to £20 ph (dependant on experience)

Hours: 08:30 - 15:30

Supply Desk is currently looking for several experienced Maths and English HLTA/ tutor to provide one-to-one intervention to children a group of children with additional needs within the Winchester area. This small village school work with a large number of SEND/additional needs children who have various learning gaps.

Responsibilities
  • Tutoring and supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs, including ADHD, ASD, and SEMH.
  • Supporting children from a range of ages, backgrounds & abilities.
  • Effectively engage students in private study.
  • Help to boost the knowledge, understanding, and engagement of SEN children requiring extra learning support in Maths.
Requirements
  • To hold QTS status or an alternative, equivalent qualification or have relevant experience teaching/tutoring children with SEN
  • To be passionate about making a positive influence on children who require additional support
  • Have or be willing to obtain a valid & up to date DBS.
  • Be able to effectively engage and manage students.
  • Be able to work flexibly.
