Job Title: Primary Mainstream Supply Teacher

Primary Mainstream Supply Teacher – Dorset

Are you a qualified teacher looking for a role that offers flexibility, variety, and the chance to focus solely on teaching? GSL Education are looking for a Primary Mainstream Supply Teacher to support schools across Dorset.

Responsibilities:

• Step into the classroom to lead well-prepared lessons in place of the regular teacher.
• Promote a calm and focused learning space by effectively managing student behaviour.
• Offer immediate academic and emotional support to pupils as needed.
• Oversee a mix of whole-class and small-group activities across a variety of subjects.
• Quickly adjust to new school settings and follow each school’s specific guidelines.
• Share observations and updates on pupil engagement and progress with school staff.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a must.
• Experience across different key stages is advantageous.
• A flexible, professional, and positive approach to education.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively and confidently.
• Have anupdated CV(covering thelast ten years barring any unexplained gaps) andan enhanced DBSregistered to theUpdate Service(or be willing to apply for one).
