Job summary

Bonnygate Primary School in the United Kingdom is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join the team on a fixed-term contract until 31 December 2027. The role runs 30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term-time plus inset days), 8:45am–3:15pm with a 30-minute lunch break. Salary is Thurrock Band A Point 1–6 (£17,572.90–£18,810.34 per annum).

Qualifications

• Committed to supporting pupils’ learning, behaviour and welfare.
• Educated to GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4-9 or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Assist pupils with learning activities and tasks.
• Support behaviour and welfare in classrooms and on the school site.
• Assist in implementing and adapting learning programs to meet needs.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and procedures to ensure pupil safety.
