Job summary

Old Buckenham Primary School in Norfolk is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is a part-time, term-time post (30.42 hours/week, 39 weeks/year) with pro rata salary.

You will support pupils' learning and wellbeing, working under the Head of School (Inclusion Leader). A positive, proactive attitude, excellent communication, and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, families and staff are essential.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at a minimum grade C/4.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to varied tasks.
• Experience supporting pupils, including those with SEND, is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils' learning and wellbeing in a one-to-one or small group setting.
• Work under the direction of the Head of School (Inclusion Leader).
• Help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment for all pupils.
