Job summary

Wootton Primary School on Bedford Road is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs, in a busy primary setting. The role is permanent and part-time at 31.25 hours per week, with Monday to Friday 8:45am to 3:30pm.

The successful candidate will have experience in a primary school, running interventions, speech and language support and phonics teaching. Visits to the school are encouraged and a supportive team awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.
• Ideally experience in a primary school setting.
• Experience running interventions, speech and language support and phonics teaching.

Responsibilities

• Support learning for pupils, including those with SEN, under the guidance of the class teacher.
• Assist in running interventions, speech and language support and phonics teaching.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment and monitor pupil progress.
