A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Richmond is seeking a Primary Learning Mentor to support pupils who require additional emotional and academic guidance. This Primary Learning Mentor role is ideal for someone looking to make a real difference to the lives of children who may face social, emotional or behavioural challenges.
As a Primary Learning Mentor, you will work closely with the SENCo and pastoral team to deliver targeted support both in and out of the classroom. Youll build strong relationships with pupils and help them stay focused, engaged and confident throughout the school day.
Key responsibilities:

  • 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs
  • Supporting class routines and transitions throughout the day
  • Helping to develop pupil confidence, behaviour, and resilience
  • Working closely with teachers and parents to ensure progress

Were looking for:
  • A 2:1 or higher in Psychology, Education, Criminology or similar
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • A calm, patient and supportive approach
  • Full academic year availability
