We are looking for a Primary Lead Teacher for our new Acorn Education School - Manor Wood School, Bishopsworth. The school will have a capacity for 80 pupils and is scheduled to open in May 2025. It will be a co-educational provision for pupils with complex needs, including SEMH.

About the role
This is a great opportunity for a Teacher who wants to develop creative learning opportunities for pupils with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding, within a school that maintains a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected, and involved in decision-making.
We are looking for a Primary Teacher experienced in teaching a range of subjects who shares our vision to empower vulnerable young people to build futures and succeed in the world.
The post holder will ensure high-quality teaching, effective resource use, and improved standards of learning and achievement for all pupils in consultation with the Assistant Head; focusing on improving the quality of pupils' learning in KS2.
Responsibilities include contributing to the development and implementation of KS2 policies, leading KS2 initiatives, and planning targets and success criteria for development and maintenance.
You will teach various subjects as needed to deliver the school curriculum effectively, which may include off-site locations, including college settings.
You will also support and promote the learning, personal development, and well-being of all students.
