Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive KS2 Primary Specialist Teaching Assistant to work in a Sheffield Primary School. The role involves supporting a Year 6 student with SEN on a 1:1 basis. The position is full-time, with potential for extension into Year 7, and requires working from 8:15 am to 3:30 pm daily.

The ideal candidate:

  • Possesses a Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (not essential).
  • Has experience in similar 1:1 SEN support roles.
  • Is committed to school values and ethos, aiming to help students achieve their best.
  • Has a calm, approachable manner with strong classroom management skills.
  • Has SEN experience, especially SEMH, with a focus on lower age-related learning, though KS2 experience is preferred.
