Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a KS1 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Ruislip (HA4). The role runs from January 2027 to July 2027 on a temporary contract, full-time hours, 8:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday (term time only).

Both NQTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply. You will contribute to planning and delivery of the KS1 curriculum, manage assessments, and engage with parents evenings. A clear DBS and Right to Work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1 year UK EYFS/KS1/KS2 teaching experience.
• Safeguarding training updated within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver KS1 lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess and track pupil progress; provide timely feedback.
• Engage parents during evenings and maintain clear communication.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is looking for a KS1 Teacher for a Primary school in Ruislip, HA4.

The school is a popular mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff.

The position is open to both NQT's and experienced teachers. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year EYFS/KS1/KS2 teaching experience in the UK
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
