Job summary

Aspire People in Manchester and the surrounding areas is seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to support pupils in KS1 (Year 1 and Year 2). The role covers helping with phonics, early reading and writing, maths, and general classroom support across primary schools.

Ideal candidates will have recent KS1 experience in a UK primary school, a positive, nurturing approach, and flexibility for full-time or regular part-time work.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teaching and learning within KS1 classrooms.
• Assisting pupils with phonics, early reading and writing.
• Supporting Maths and other curriculum activities.
• Working with small groups and individual pupils.
• Helping pupils develop confidence and independence.
• Supporting classroom routines and positive behaviour.
• Assisting pupils with SEND where required.
• Working closely with the class teacher.

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant who enjoys supporting children during the early stages of their primary education?

Aspire People are recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Manchester and the surrounding areas, with opportunities supporting pupils in Year 1 and Year 2.
