Smile Education are recruiting an experienced Interim Headteacher for a primary school in Earl Shilton. The role requires a strong, confident leader who can step in quickly to provide stability and clear direction for the Autumn Term.

The successful candidate will have proven Headteacher experience, be calm and visible, build relationships with staff, pupils and families, and work closely with the school Trust and education teams to identify priorities and drive steady progress from day one.

Interim Primary Headteacher

Smile Education are recruiting an experienced Interim Headteacher for an exciting and important leadership opportunity at a primary school in Earl Shilton.

We are looking for a strong, experienced and confident primary Headteacher who can step into the role quickly and provide stability, consistency and clear leadership throughout the Autumn Term.

This is an urgent appointment, but finding the right person for the school is the priority.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have proven experience as a Primary Headteacher, either substantively or in successful interim roles.
• Be a calm, visible and approachable leader who can quickly build positive relationships with staff, pupils and families.
• Have experience leading schools through periods of change and providing stability and reassurance.
• Be confident taking ownership of the day-to-day leadership and quickly identifying and addressing key priorities.
• Work collaboratively with the school's Trust and central education teams.

This role would suit an experienced Headteacher who enjoys making a positive impact, can hit the ground running and is able to provide strong, consistent leadership from day one.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of this position, this is not an opportunity for someone stepping into their first Headship. Proven Headteacher experience is essential.
