Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group are seeking an HLTA / Cover Supervisor for a welcoming Newham primary school in East London. This is a full-time, permanent position starting September 2025, with pay ranging from £120 to £160 per day depending on experience.

You will cover classes from EYFS to KS2, run interventions, assist with lesson delivery and pupil progress, and contribute to a positive, well‑behaved learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience covering classes across all key stages from Nursery to Year 6.
• Ability to deliver pre-planned lessons confidently.
• Experience leading small group interventions to raise attainment.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• HLTA qualification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Cover classes across EYFS to KS2 with pre-planned lessons.
• Lead interventions and booster groups to raise attainment.
• Support the class teacher with lesson delivery and pupil progress.
