Are you an experienced and passionate teaching assistant looking for your next step? We’re currently looking for confident and flexible Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to support schools across the Gravesend area.

This is a supply role, ideal for those who want the flexibility of short-term and long-term placements in a variety of primary settings across Gravesend. It’s a great way to build experience, expand your skills, and make a real difference without committing to a permanent post right away.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Stepping up to lead classes when needed, following planned lessons and supporting learning across a range of subjects.
• Supporting pupils’ academic and personal development, adapting your approach depending on individual needs.
• Managing classroom behaviour and helping to create a calm, positive learning environment.
• Working closely with students with SEND, helping them to fully access the curriculum.
• Providing feedback on progress and helping pupils achieve their full potential.

What We’re Looking For:

• You must hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or higher).
• Previous experience working in a school setting is essential.
• Confidence leading whole-class learning.
• A flexible, can-do attitude – every day is different in supply!
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to get one.
